The Thunder Mountain Longhorn pepper is one of a kind addition to your garden and kitchen! This elongated variety has a distinctive appearance with a thin, curly shape and vibrant red color. They are skinny like a but can grow to over 12 inches long!

This chili pepper comes from the region of Guizou. Surrounding this region are the mountains of Leigongshan which translate to “Mountain of Thunder”. Easy to grow and thriving in warm climates, Thunder Mountain Longhorn peppers an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced gardeners. These plants grow up to about 4 feet tall and are excellent producers.

Thunder Mountain Longhorns are perfect for adding a zesty kick to your favorite dishes. They have a Scoville Heat Unit of approximately 30,000-40,000 . The preferred method of preparation is to first sun dry and then smoke. They are then used as seasoning powders or to make sauces.
